Verse 1: When you are in love with a girl it seems like life ain't that fucking bad you act like a fool too afraid to speak your heart but you know you're not sad and you think of her beautiful face every time you close your eyes and you know that she's the stars and the moon in your fucking skies Chorus: Close your eyes and I swear you can feel all the heart beats of every punk and every kid out there on the streets we're fools and lovers playing our parts and I hope that you and me we will never ever be apart Verse 2: And when you love a girl you know that your life is much better than it was before and you know that there will be a smile on your face even when the pigs are kicking in your front door because nothing can ever bring you down because your head is in the sky you know you can't stop smiling no you can't even fucking try Verse 3: So let's burn the city to ashes with the fire in our hearts and we will propose a toast tonight for the new world we will start so raise our glasses high my love let's dance the night away the rest of the world can go to hell it wasn't meant for the likes of us anyway!

4.
Intro: So sit right back my friends and I will tell you a tale of two cities one is the asshole of the midwest the other is the jewel of the east and here's a story of drinking many pints in the belly of the beast and in the end I think happiness we found as we drink our way from town to town... 1st Verse: Buy me four pints of Strongbow cider and let's talk the night away sitting at the White Horse tonight I think that we'll be okay and if I never leave this bar stool behind at least I spent this time with a good ol' friend of mine well buy me pints of PBR Down at the Keller tonight boats of popcorn and peanuts and Jones is looking for a fight but we will laugh it all off and hit the dance floor D.E.A. just finished up and we keep on screaming for more Chorus: Well we hit the road and we're destined for the east coast so one more for the road my friend I wanna propose a toast here's to good health, and life without wealth and livin' on the road so screw the good lord, never helped us anyway and here's to hopin' that we never come back no more 2nd Verse Let's take the J-Train down to Goodbye Blue Monday drinking pints of Guiness and listen to Debe Dalton play sing along to the back pack song laugh and cry to the tale she tells and outside these sacred doors the rest of the world can go right to hell When we've only got a couple dollars left let's walk on down to the Sidewalk Cafe we'll be drinking cans of Gennesse and we'll listen to Brook Pridemore play we'll be sitting next to J.J. Hayes with John Burger across the way and I think my friend if I die tonight I think that I will be okay (repeat chorus) Bridge: We'll walk through these streets drinking Brooklyn Lager my friend tonight take the Staten Island Ferry and walk the streets of St. George alright and drink some 40's on door stoops until the sun rises in the east then later up to St. Marks and we'll spange singles for a pizza feast! (repeat chorus twice)

Who will write my "Alas Babylon" who will help me to carry on who will be my Chris Clavin and who will be my best friend could you ever forgive me will you never give up on me? It was a cold night in October and I was saved by Summer alone I sat with that razor blade alone I sat when they came to take me away and it was you that held me that night and it was you that gave me love that night Seeing those tears in your eyes broke my heart that night I wish I could tell you everything will be alright I would do anything to tend this pain I wish I could never ever hurt you again but I feel so alone and dying inside how many more times will you be by my side? You know I can't live forever so this is a song for Summer you are so beautiful bright and warm I wish I could promise you no more harm as I look into your eyes and say, I love you you're my best friend and I know you love me too.
6.
Chorus: Oh waters of this river please let your waters take me from here like the sky without stars I feel so alone Won't an angel from heaven fly down and hold me near this cold and lonely wind chills me to the bone 1st verse: I waited all night for you my love I laid here looking at the stars above and I wonder why am I all alone and I wanna go away into the unknown 2nd Verse: The wind in the pines it blows my hair and I turn around hoping you'll be there but I stand here in the dark all alone I think I've lost everything I've known 3rd verse I remember those words that flowed from your mouth though I don't recall what it was all about I think I've lost 'bout everyone I know and I can feel the seasons changing into snow
7.
Let's grab some forties and go down to the tracks we can go out drinking and we'll never come back we got each other and we got the road there is no limits to where we can go All I need is a forty and all I need is you I got nowhere to go, I got nothing to do but I got this forty of Old English, and we've got each other we will make it through as long as we do it together We're drinking space-bag out under the stars and everything in this world is ours I look at you, I have just one question for you if Jesus were here what would he do? He'd turn water into wine and drink the night away that's good enough for me, I think that we will be okay 'cause the night is for lovers like the two of us that's one thing in life that you know you can trust Let's go make love out under the stars climb to the top of the hill and throw rocks at stars because they can't slow down and take it all in so let's steal some forties and let our adventure (life) begin
8.
I jumped the pitfalls I made it through I swam the ocean just to get to you I made it through the underworld through the pipes I used my fireballs to kill the boss but I hear the same story every time yes I hear the same story every time you know I hear the same story every time thank you but I must apologize your princess is in another castle I met this girl the other she's the cutest girl I've ever seen and i tell you what I'd like this beautiful girl waking up next to me then a month or two go by and I hear the same story every time you know I hear the same story every time yes I hear the same story every time thank you but I must apologize your princess is in another castle I meet this girl she takes my breath away I think I'm in love again though I'm only at level five or six I think that she will be the one I go through hell just to get to her but I hear the same story every time you know I hear the same story every time yes I hear the same story every time thank you but I must apologize your princess is in another castle And I hear the same story every time you know I hear the same story every time yes, I hear the same story every time thank you but I must apologize your princess is in another castle thank you but I must apologize your princess is in another castle

So Scott says to me I'm gonna get you drunker than you've been before and when Scott says that to you then you know you won't be able to find your own front door crawling home from the bar that night I was drunk off my ass that night that I met you and you are so beautiful that part is true I love your beautiful blonde hair and those green eyes And when you said let's go smoke a bowl in the alley that night how could I ever say no? so we got up and walked away away we go You saw that patch on my shorts and asked is that Zounds I said it is, you know who they are you sang Can't Cheat Karma and I fell in love with you and we started to make out in that alley in downtown St. Cloud We got back to the Keller I got back to my friends I had to let you go But we would meet again I drank too much and wound up on the floor puking in the men's room where you tried to use the urinal I helped you out you had my heart but my friends said that you were trash and that I could do better but it was too late I had fallen in love with you So I called you up the next day and invited you out for some breakfast and some drinks on our walk back to your place I saw you under the sun you were the most beautiful girl that I had ever seen your hair was like gold in that October sun it broke my heart to tell you that tomorrow I was going away
10.
So sit right back my friends and here what I have to say I want to tell you the truth about May Day Thousands of workers went on strike in the USA with the cry "8-hour day with no cut in pay" Even the dirty scabs joined the workers there out in the streets and in public squares sadly many more stayed on the factory floor and those the workers couldn't take anymore May 3rd 1886 August Spies advised the workers that they need "Hold together stand by your union or they would not succeed" Many workers rushed the scabs as they came out the factory doors the McCormick Machine Company workers could take no more Cops fired shots into the crowd two striking workers fell dead that day they gave their lives to fight for the 8-hour working day A brave group of anarchists knew something had to be done and called for a gathering at Haymarket Square workingmen to arms the anarchists' fliers said revenge for the innocent workers who lay dead May 4 1886 Pigs showed up armed for war ordered the gathering be disbursed as they charged the crowd a bomb rang out killing six police men Cops fired on the fleeing men the reloaded and fired again 4 workers lay dead in the Chicago streets nearly 70 more wounded as they flee Th anarchists were blamed for the bombs and for the death though Pinkerton infiltration made more sense but the anarchists would take the fall you see 8 comrades were charged with conspiracy So remember the story of the Haymarket riot the brave workers who stood up for your rights never forget the brave workers and the sacrifice they made for better hours and for better pay
